It was a busy weekend across the country as at least 9 ultras took place Saturday or Sunday. Headlining the weekend was the H.U.R.T. Trail 100 in Honolulu, HI. Taking the top three podium spots for the men were Gary Robbins, North Vancouver, CAN (20:12), Nathan Yanko, San Francisco, CA (22:30), and Brett Rivers, San Francisco (24:40). If you check out the results, take note, that is Running the Sahara’s Charlie Engle in 8th place. On the women’s side, Tracy Garneau, Vernon, BC, was the first female to cross the line and 3rd overall in a time of 24:06. Monica Scholz, Jerseyville, ONT was second followed by Charlotte Vasarhelyi, Breslau, CAN in third.
